Key Person
All our staff are qualified Level 3 or above, all hold Paediatric first aid certificates, currant Safeguarding certificates and have Enhanced DBS. Staff to child ratios at our pre-school are in line with current recommended guidelines, 1:4 for under 3's and 1:8 for over 3's.
We operate with a key person system, which sees each staff member take responsibility for a particular group of up to six children. You will be advised the name and contact details for your child's key person upon enrolment.
Your child's key person will ensure that their needs are recognised within the pre-school so that, within the overall curriculum framework, an individual curriculum or play plan is devised to meet their needs. Allocating a key person helps a child to feel confident,safe and secure whilst at pre-school.
